Spring Book Sale is Next Week

Great Used Books at Incredible Prices! The Friends of the Library will host their Spring Book Sale on Tuesday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on the Library patio.
Friends of the Library members are invited to a special pre-sale starting 9:00 a.m. before the event is open to the public. Anyone may join the Friends of the Library prior to the book sale to take advantage of the one hour "pre-sale" exclusive for Friends members.
A variety of books will be available from bestsellers, romance, and mysteries to science, art, history and computers. Most books sell for $1. The sale will culminate with a "dollar-a-bag" sale starting at 2:00 p.m.
Metered parking will be available in Lot E (take Merrimac Way to the southwest corner of campus). Please call (714) 432-0202 x21058 for further details. Free parking permits will be available for FOTL members.

The library will be holding workshops starting May 3rd. Here is the schedule:

Donate to the Friends of the Library Online

You can now donate to the Friends of the Library online! Simply go to the Friends website and click the blue gift button. All donations benefit the OCC Library. Thank you for your contributions!

New Library Donation Bin

There is now a new donation bin for your book and media donations! The new bin is located next to the Library’s return book bin in Parking Lot E. A tax receipt will be available on request.

Library Databases Access for Spring Break

Since MyOCC will be down during Spring Break, you will need to access the library electronic resources through Blackboard. You can find instructions for accessing these resources through Blackboard here. If you are having difficulty, please email the Online Services Librarian.

Scan Only station in the lab

The library now has a "scan only" station in the lab. This scanner is set up next to the printers and is reserved for scanning only. Please speak to the Media Desk if you need assistance with the scanner.

New Announcement Displays in Library!

The Library now has two TVs mounted on the wall that provide students with information about events, library tips, and more! The TVs are located at the entrance to the computer lab and next to the elevator. These displays were partially funded by the Friends of the Library--the Library thanks them for their generous donation!
