New Announcement Displays in Library!

The Library now has two TVs mounted on the wall that provide students with information about events, library tips, and more! The TVs are located at the entrance to the computer lab and next to the elevator. These displays were partially funded by the Friends of the Library--the Library thanks them for their generous donation!

New "Quick Print" station in the library

Need to print a paper quickly? The library now has a Quick Print station in our computer lab! This station is in the back corner of the lab and is reserved for printing only. No need to stand in the regular line--just go directly to the quick print station. Please note: you will need to log-in and pay for your prints with the blue card, just as you would with the regular lab computers.

FOTL Event Tomorrow Night!

The Friends of the Library are holding their next event tomorrow night. Stop by and check it out!

Voices of the Golden West
Time: Tuesday, March 1, at 7:00 p.m.

Location: OCC Library Lecture Room

Donation: $5 at the door or donation of gently used book; Free for OCC students and FOTL members.

Join editor Sylvia Worden and her guest writers as they share their experiences included in "Voices of the Golden West," a collection of 89 true stories collected for the California Stories Initiative. The project was funded by a California Council on the Humanities grant sponsored by the Golden West College Foundation.

Books will be available for purchase by Lido Village Books. Refreshments will be served. Extra credit vouchers will be available. For general information, call (714) 432-0202 x21058. Proceeds will benefit the OCC Friends of the Library.

Library Closed Feb. 18-21

The library will be closed for the campus-wide holiday Friday, Feb. 17 through Monday, Feb. 21. We will reopen on Tuesday at 8am.

LexisNexis is once again available to use off-campus.

Book donations needed
