New Bestsellers in the Library May 2017

The OCC Library has added several new bestseller titles to our collection, and we hope that you like this selection of new books. Summer 2017 Hours for OCC Library

The library will open during Summer 2017 from June 12 through August 17. The hours are:

Monday - Thursday: noon - 6pm
Friday - Sunday: CLOSED

We will be closed May 27- June 11, as well as August 19 - 27. We will reopen for our normal hours on August 28.

The library will closed March 27 - April 2, 2017 for Spring Break. We will reopen on Monday, April 3 at 8am.
You may return books in the book drop in Parking Lot E or the book drop on the side of the library next to the entrance.

2017 Spring FOTL Book Sale



Tuesday,April 25 - Hours: 10am - 3pm; (9 - 10am Friends of the Library members only)
Wednesday, April 26 - Hours: 9am - 3pm; $2-a-bag sale starts at 1pm
Great used books at incredible prices! The Friends of the Library will host their Fall Book Sale for two days. A variety of books will be available from bestsellers, romance, and mysteries to science, art, history and computers. Most books sell for $1.00. The sale will culminate with a "2-dollar-a-bag" sale from 1 - 3pm on the second day. Anyone may join the Friends of the Library prior to the book sale to take advantage of the first day one hour "pre-sale" exclusive for Friends members. The sale will be held inside of the library, with entry from the outside door. Metered parking is available in Lot E (take Merrimac Way to the southwest corner of campus). Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour

When: Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22 at 7PM

Orange Coast College will host the "best of the best" from the annual Banff Mountain Film Festival on Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22. The program will begin at 7PM in the OCC Robert B. Moore Theatre. Each night will offer completely different films. The BMFF World Tour features an international selection of films that present a wide range of outdoor adventures and portraits, including climbing, mountain expeditions, remote cultures and the world’s last great wild places!

New Manga in the Library - 01/2017

The library has added new manga to our collection, thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Library! The manga section is located at PN6790.J34 on the second floor of the library. Manga can be checked out for 3 weeks with an OCC student photo ID.
