Fall Booksale is Tuesday!

Great Used Books at Incredible Prices! The Friends of the Library will host their Fall Book Sale on Tuesday, October 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the library.

Friends of the Library members are invited to a special pre-sale starting 9:00 a.m. before the event is open to the public. Anyone may join the Friends of the Library prior to the book sale to take advantage of the one hour "pre-sale" exclusive for Friends members.

A variety of books will be available from bestsellers, romance, and mysteries to science, art, history and computers. Most books sell for $1. The sale will culminate with a "dollar-a-bag" sale starting at 2:00 p.m.

Metered parking will be available in Lot E (take Merrimac Way to the southwest corner of campus). Please call (714) 432-0202 x21058 for further details. Free parking permits will be available for FOTL members.

FOTL Event Tomorrow night

The Friends of the Library will be presenting "The Big One: Are We Next?" on Oct. 21 at 7:30pm in the library. Orange Coast College's resident earthquake expert, Associate Professor Erik Bender, Ph.D., will talk about the chances of a 7.8 or higher quake rocking Southern California and what to expect if it does, as well as other dangers lurking beneath us.
